ABOUT

BAFTA Award-winning colourist Vanessa Aparicio brings a bold, emotive touch to every project, drawing on her South American heritage to craft rich, diverse palettes that elevate visual storytelling. A graduate of the prestigious National Film and Television School (NFTS) with a Master's in Colour Grading, Vanessa quickly established herself in the industry.

Her work has earned multiple nominations at the UKMVAs, the British Young Arrows, and the Berlin Commercial Awards. In 2025, she was named a finalist for Most Promising Colourist at the Creative Circle Festival.

She has collaborated with artists and directors including Karol G, Sevdaliza, Maverick Sabre, Mackenzie Sheppard, WillemsKantine, Nez Khammal, Billy King, among others, and with global brands such as Adidas, Meta, Under Armour, Oakley, Zalando, Sprite, Vans, Hyundai, Marshall, Patta, Mulberry, Ferragamo, Margaret Howell, Jawara Alleyne, and Samsung.

After leading the Colour department at Glassworks, where she developed extensive production expertise, collaborative vision, and creative direction, Vanessa is now working as a freelance colourist, available for collaborations on commercials, music videos, shorts and feature film projects. She continues to champion bold, emotionally driven work — resonating with the next generation of creatives and redefining what storytelling through colour can be.
